One day in the Altai mountains
You don’t have to book a cabin to spend a full day with us. The “Weekend Day” programme bundles the best of Klimovka into 8 hours: mountains, horses, farm animals and a hearty country meal.
What is a “Weekend Day”
It’s a format for those with a single free day and the urge to get out of town into real mountains. You arrive in the morning, spend the day with us at the resort, eat lunch and dinner of our home-farm food, ride a horse, pet camels and yaks, breathe the Altai air — and head back in the evening.
What’s included
One price — several services. No hidden add-ons: all of this comes with the day-pass.
Two meals
A hearty lunch and dinner made from products of our own “Gemma” farm: fresh milk, homemade sour cream, country meat, nitrate-free vegetables.
Horse riding
A ride on a horse around the resort’s designated area with a short instructor briefing. Suitable even for those who have never been in the saddle.
Petting zoo
Free access to our animals: camels, yaks, marals, ponies, donkeys, ostriches and rabbits. Many of them you can pet and feed with special food.
Horse-drawn sleigh
In winter — a ride on a sleigh pulled by a troika of horses. The kind of real Russian winter atmosphere you simply can’t get in the city.
Snow tubing
In winter — unlimited tubing down the hill on inflatable rings. Works for kids and adults alike — no one walks away without a shriek of delight.
Walks on the grounds
The resort sits on the banks of the Razlivanka river, surrounded by taiga. A walk around the grounds alone is worth the trip — especially in the golden autumn or across the snowy winter valley.
How the day unfolds
There’s no rigid schedule — you build your day as you wish. But if you like to plan ahead, here’s a rough flow:
- 10:00 — arrival, tour of the grounds
- 11:00 — petting zoo, photos with camels
- 13:00 — lunch in the dining hall
- 14:30 — horse riding (or sleigh/tubing in winter)
- 16:00 — walk along the Razlivanka river
- 17:00 — dinner
- 18:00 — departure
Who it’s for
Families with kids
Kids under 3 — free. Ages 3 to 12 — 50% off the adult price. The zoo and tubing hill usually exceed all expectations.
Small groups of friends
If you want a day “out in nature” without tents and complicated logistics — come over. Barbecue, horses, sauna (extra) — the day delivers.
Birthday out of town
A good format for a kids’ or adult birthday with zero hassle. We set the table, we plan the activities together, photos with yaks and camels — on the house.
Corporate day-out
A small team can come for a one-day teambuilding — without the complications of overnight stays. Larger groups are better served by an overnight in our Guest house.
